Guru IPTV Not Working or Down? Quick Fixes

Most "not working" problems are on the device, the login or the Wi-Fi, and they take a few minutes to fix. Work through the steps below in order. If everything fails on every device and network, contact support and we will check your account.

Step 1: Is it one channel or everything?

Open a different channel, then a different category. If only one channel fails, note its name and the time and message support. If everything fails, continue with the steps below.

Step 2: Test another device or network

Try the same login on another device, such as your phone, or switch your phone to a mobile hotspot and test again. If it works there, the cause is your home network or the first device. If it fails everywhere, tell support.

Step 3: Re-enter your login

Copy and paste the server URL, username and password from the WhatsApp or email message we sent. Check for a trailing space or a missing http://. Use the login type we gave you (Xtream Codes or M3U), and check that your plan or 24-hour trial has not ended.

Step 4: Restart in the right order

Close the player, restart the device, then unplug the router for 30 seconds. Update the player app and clear its cache from the device settings.

Step 5: Check speed and connections

One stream needs about 5 Mbps for SD, 10 for HD, 15 for FHD and 25 or more for 4K. Use a wired connection if possible, lower the quality, and make sure no more screens are playing than your plan's connections. See the internet speed guide and how many connections you need.

Device-specific checks

  • Firestick: clear the player's cache, restart the Fire TV, and reinstall the player from its official download link if needed. See the Firestick guide.
  • Smart TV: players such as IBO Player, Set IPTV and NET IPTV use MAC-address activation, so check that the MAC address you sent us is correct. See the Smart TV guide.
  • MAG box: send us the MAC address on WhatsApp and we activate it and send your portal links. See the MAG box guide.
  • Phone and tablet: update the app, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, and sign in again. See the phone guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is Guru IPTV down right now?

This page cannot show a live status. Check whether the problem is on your side first: try another channel, another device and another network, such as your phone's hotspot. If channels fail everywhere, contact support on WhatsApp, by email or by phone and tell us the channel names and the time.

Why is Guru IPTV not working on my Firestick or Smart TV?

The most common causes are a login typo, an old app version, Wi-Fi that is too slow or a full cache. Re-enter the login by copy and paste, update the player, restart the device and router, and use a wired connection if you can.

Why do channels buffer or freeze?

Buffering is usually caused by your connection, not the channel. Check your speed against the guide (about 5 Mbps for SD, 10 for HD, 15 for FHD and 25 or more for 4K per stream), lower the quality, and pause other heavy downloads.

Why does my login say invalid or expired?

Check for a trailing space, a missing http://, or letters that look alike. Also check the end date of your plan or trial: a 24-hour trial ends after 24 hours.

Is it the number of connections?

Yes, it can be. A connection is one stream playing at a time. If more screens are playing than your plan allows, extra streams may be refused.

How do I contact support?

By WhatsApp or email, 24/7, or by phone at +1 (406) 235-6618. Send your device, player, the channel name and a short description of what you see.
